Romans 1:16 says
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..."
Gospel … it is one of the "church" words. It simply means good news. The Christmas season is about celebrating the good news that Jesus Christ is born. It is good news because of the hope of salvation and redemption that Jesus brings to us.

Formed in 1977, we are a fellowship that believes and holds to the Holy Bible as the inerrant Word of God.
We believe that the church is the foundation and the pillar of truth (1 Timothy 3:15), that God has given gifts to people and given these people as gifts to the church for the strengthening of the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
We teach, in textual thematic exposition, the full council of God.
This is in context, the theme that the Lord is dealing with, and exposing the truth of God to all people.
We are a body that strives in the power of the Holy Spirit to present every man complete in Christ.
Our prayer is that we are not seen - that only Christ is seen.
We are involved in the preaching of the Gospel and strengthening of the body of Christ in our area, as well as around the world.
May we who are united in the Spirit of the Living God stand in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
